Hey everyone,
Quiz #1 will be held at the beginning of the tutorial on Friday, September 29th. The focus of the quiz will be on the following textbook material (excluding sections noted as optional on the course syllabus):
Chapter 1
Chapter 2
The lecture notes up to and including September 22nd will also be covered. The quiz is 50 minutes in length.
The quiz is "open textbook". Please remember to bring your textbook and a calculator. You may write in your textbook and use index tabs but no additional sheets of paper, nor sticky notes, are allowed. The lecture notes are not permitted. As the University respects the intellectual property of its faculty, photocopies of the textbook or other unauthorized reproductions are not permitted. In lieu of the textbook, an 8.5" by 11" handwritten sheet of paper will also be allowed. For clarity, only one aid is allowed - either the textbook OR the summary sheet of paper. The textbook is strongly recommended.
Please write the quiz in your correct ACORN-assigned tutorial room as only the correct number of quizzes will be printed.
